 Collection From Store

Customers can collect furniture from Essex Discount Furniture. We will send an email to you when your order is ready to be collected, please bring your order number with you. It is in the customers best interest to bring appropriate equipment to secure items in your vehicle. All items must be paid in full before collection. Any damaged or defects are the responsibility of the customer after collection from Essex Discount Furniture. If the item is not collected within 14 days of purchase a storage fee may be incurred. 

Delivery

We offer a delivery service using our own delivery team and couriers. We will call or email you with a delivery day and time. Each product has a estimated delivery time which can be found on product description. We can deliver to a garden with side or back entrance.

Furniture Collections

Mattresses & sofas must be in a dry and suitable condition and ready for the team to collect. Furniture collections must be paid for and arranged before collection. Delivery/collection team will not collect other furniture unless paid for or arranged before collection.

Outdoor Furniture

All our outdoor furniture is weather and UV resistant. The cushions on all the outdoor sets are not weather or UV resistant. We recommend removing the cushions from the sets when not in use and storing them in a clean/dry environment to avoid damage.

Mattresses

Essex Discount Furniture has a no returns policy for all mattress and bedding items. The mattress manufactures are responsible for upholding the warranty on all mattresses. As your representative we will contact the manufacturer on your behalf. The manufacturer is responsible for authorising any service or repairs as needed. Advanced sleep research has shown it may take several weeks for our bodies to adjust to a new mattress. Essex Discount Furniture recommends you take the time to select the best mattress for your needs and allow your body time to adjust to your new sleep surface.

Ex-display Items

On items which are stated as ex-display, customers are responsible for fully inspecting the items prior to purchase. Once items are purchased, they are ineligible for return.

Returns

Returns will not be possible on bespoke and made to order items or ex-display and clearance items, garden furniture cushions (please check the sizes before purchasing) as well as mattresses and bedding. 

Any discrepancy must be notified within 24 hours of delivery or collection. 

All deposits made are non-refundable.

We offer our online customers only a 14 day returns policy. If there is a problem with your item/s and you would like to return the item/s, please send an email to sales@essexdiscountfurniture.co.uk. Please include your invoice number and the reason for the return.

Please Note: There is an admin & restocking fee for all returns & cancelled orders. If an item is faultyin the first instance Essex Discount Furniture will attempt to resolve the situation where possible with a replacement or repair at no cost to the customer. However if the item is not faulty, the cost, if any, of the original delivery will not be refunded and the cost of collection will be deducted from the total refund. 

If your item/s have been assembled and are not faulty, or if they have been used, you will not be able to return your item/s. 

Any item that shows signs of use – including but not limited to smoke, pet or food odours or stains – will not be accepted.

 Please be advised that it is your responsibility to take care of the product/s and ensure they are returned to us safely, in a saleable condition and in all original packaging. Please take every precaution to ensure the goods are in exactly the same condition as when you received them. Failure to do so may result in us being unable to refund you.

 Therefore, although we offer up to 14 days for returns, we highly recommend you contacting us as soon as possible to reduce the chance of accidental damage occurring in your home.

When handling/moving an item please take great care not to damage the item. Any item that suffers accidental damage after we have delivered your item will not be eligible for return.

Upon delivery the driver will take several pictures of the item/s and you will be required to sign a delivery note confirming you are happy with the conditions of the goods. If we go to collect any item/s and there is damage, the item/s will not be collected.

 Once the item/s has been returned to us as detailed above, a refund will be issued to you via the method by which you paid.

 

Your Statutory Rights are not affected.
